Science Olympiad

                                  Inland Empire Regional Science Olympiad

Science Olympiad is nationwide competition. Students compete in 23 events that include earth science, biology, chemistry, physics, and engineering. Science Olympiad is designed to increase a student’s interest in STEM fields and provide recognition for outstanding achievement in team events. Students compete in Science Olympiad with the top teams advancing from Regional to State to National levels.

Herpetology List
SoCal State Tournament will be using the National Herpetology list and will not have a modified list. IERSO will follow the same guidelines as SoCal State Tournament.

SoCal State Tournament will require eye protection type B for Wright Stuff C, despite the rules not requiring it .IERSO will follow the same guidelines as SoCal State Tournament.

Event Change from Game On B to Code Buster B
SoCal State Tournament will run Codebusters B instead of Game On B. The rules for Codebusters B is posted here: http://socalscioly.org/downloads/SoCal_CodebustersB.pdf  IERSO will follow the same guidelines as SoCal State Tournament.
