Science Olympiad School Volunteer - (Judges / Supervisors)
Volunteers are valuable and necessary resource that contribute directly to the success of the North Pocono Science Olympiad Invitational. Participating schools are responsible for sending one adult volunteer per registered team. Teams with fewer than 8 students per team or experience extreme hardship may request for a waiver. "Cannot find volunteers" does not fall within the classification of extreme hardship. Waiver must be submitted by January 1 to the tournament director. School volunteers must be available the entire day in which their school is competing. We cannot break assignments into shifts because continuity is required in running events
Parents and school volunteers are reminded of National Science Olympiad Code of Ethics and Science Olympiad Pledges:National Science Olympiad Code of Ethics
The goal of competition is to give one's best effort while displaying honesty, integrity, and good sportsmanship.Parent's Pledge
